Shosh is IN LOVE with the new foyer light.  This flush mount metal shade with crystals completely changed the front entryway into a fabulous space that sparkles in every direction at night!  This was the FIRST frugal install in our new house.  Before this we had been sheet rocking, moving/adding electric, peeling wallpaper, priming, blah blah boring……finally some fun!

It hung too low and you felt like you were going to bonk your head on it as you headed up and down the stairwell.  We moved the location of the ceiling light centering it in the hallway.

Installation Day:

James hung the light skillfully.

Meanwhile Shosh checked out all the crystal that will be placed inside the light!

These crystals hang from hooks located in the center of the light.  The light even came with a cloth glove for your hand to keep the crystals clear of dust and because this light comes with special LED bulbs that you are not allowed to touch.  The glove was a bit small for James’ hand……I think it was meant for a kid!  We both were amused at this.

It is stunning!  We used a dimmer on the light switch plate so we can drench the hallway with dazzling light that dances, or get just a little bit of it.
